Ultimate A Retinol Serum for Sun Damage, Spots & Blackheads
£94 30ml
After SPF, retinol is what we recommend most, for breakouts and for anyone over 25. It speeds up renewal in ageing skin and slows it in breakout-prone skin, which is why it helps both. Ultimate A is encapsulated, so the retinol releases gradually and skin has time to adjust; witch hazel calms alongside it. Wear SPF every day while you use it.
Key ingredients
Stabilised Retinol benefits:
Restores dermal thickness Reduces visible sun damage Promotes the formation of healthy blood vessels Protects skin from UV damage Restores the epidermal barrier Regulates oil levels – aids in the management of acne Reduces fine lines through collagen stimulation Reduces skin hyperpigmentation
Witch Hazel benefits:
A natural astringent, reducing inflammation and sanitising the skin. At the same time it aids with hydration and stabilises the barrier function of the skin. Furthermore, witch hazel reduces trans-dermal water loss (TEWL) while calming the skin and reducing skin redness. In a clinical test, witch hazel proved to have a significant anti-inflammatory effect and helped reduce erythema induced by sunburn.
If you're someone who is looking to repair photo damage (fine lines, age spots, coarse skin) and regulate, balance and clarify blemish prone skin in a gentle progressive way.
What to expect
- Smoother texture and softer fine lines
- Fewer blackheads and breakouts
- More even tone, with sun spots fading over time
- Firmer, plumper-looking skin
- Oil and hydration that settle into balance
