Sensitivity

Sensitivity is not a skin type. It’s a skin that been made sensitive and is your skin’s immune system reacting to an irritant and setting off a response to protect it from harm. Everything from essential oils, too harsh treatments and exfoliants, prolonged sun exposure, rosacea, alcohol or even eating spicy foods can trigger sensitivity. All skin types can be affected, but dry, dehydrated skin is particularly susceptible because of an impaired barrier.
